1. Purpose and data controller
This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data carried out through this website. The data controller is Estudio Retamal y Venegas Abogados Limitada ("R&V Soluciones Legales" or "the Firm"), tax ID (RUT) 78.433.916-5, with its registered office at Hochstetter 1002, K Business Center, Oficina 708, Temuco, La Araucanía, Chile. Processing is governed by Law No. 19,628 (Ley N° 19.628) on the Protection of Private Life (in force until November 30, 2026) and by Law No. 21,719 (Ley N° 21.719) on the Protection of Personal Data, which applies in full from December 1, 2026 and creates the Personal Data Protection Agency.
2. Data we process
You are not required to provide any personal information to browse this site. We process personal data only when you choose to contact us:
- Contact form: name, email, phone (optional) and the information you voluntarily include in your message.
- Third-party data: if your message includes data about other people, you declare that you have their authorization or a legitimate basis to provide it.

3. Purpose and legal basis
- Handling your inquiry: to respond to and follow up on the communication you send us and, where applicable, to provide our professional services. Legal basis: your consent when submitting the form.
- Informational communications: only with your express consent could we send you information about the Firm's publications or news. We will not add you to any distribution list without that consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Retention
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected and, afterward, for the applicable statute of limitations periods. We adopt reasonable security measures to protect it.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell your data or disclose it to third parties, except where there is a legal obligation or where it is necessary to provide the service through providers that act as data processors on behalf of the Firm.
6. Providers and international transfers
To manage the submission of the contact form and email, we may use technology providers that operate abroad (for example, in the United States). In such cases we apply adequate safeguards to ensure a level of data protection equivalent to that required by Chilean law.
7. Automated decisions
Your data is not subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or significantly affect you.
8. Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation (erasure), objection and portability, as well as withdraw the consent granted, by writing to contacto@rvsolucioneslegales.cl. With the entry into force of Law No. 21,719, you may also file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency.
9. Professional confidentiality
All information provided in the context of a consultation or advice is protected by the professional secrecy that governs the practice of law in Chile.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The version in force will always be the one published on this page.
