Terms and Conditions

1. Identification and purpose
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern access to, browsing of and use of the website (the "Site") of Estudio Retamal y Venegas Abogados Limitada ("R&V Soluciones Legales" or "the Firm"), a limited liability company, tax ID (RUT) 78.433.916-5, with its registered office at Hochstetter 1002, K Business Center, Oficina 708, Temuco, La Araucanía, Chile, and contact email contacto@rvsolucioneslegales.cl.
2. Definitions
- Site: the Firm's website and all its sections, pages and features.
- Firm: Estudio Retamal y Venegas Abogados Limitada, responsible for the Site.
- User: any person who accesses, browses or interacts with the Site, including the use of its forms.
- Content: the texts, analysis, publications, images, photographs, trademarks, logos, code and design that make up the Site.
3. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using the Site, the User declares having read, understood and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with them, you must refrain from using the Site.
4. Capacity
Use of the Site is intended for persons of legal age with the legal capacity to contract under Chilean law. By using it, the User declares that they meet these requirements.
5. Informational nature
The Content is general and informational in nature and does not constitute legal advice. The User must not act on the basis of that information nor consider it a substitute for legal advice on specific cases. Every situation requires specific, professional analysis.
6. No attorney-client relationship
Accessing the Site, reading its Content or sending messages through the form, WhatsApp or email does not create an attorney-client relationship nor gives rise to duties of professional confidentiality or privilege with respect to the information sent. Such a relationship is established solely through an express, written services agreement, with defined fees, once the absence of conflicts of interest has been verified.
7. No guarantee of results
In accordance with the rules governing the practice of law in Chile, the Firm does not guarantee results of proceedings, filings or judicial or administrative procedures. Any result depends on the facts, the evidence, the applicable law and the decisions of courts and authorities. No statement on this Site should be understood as a promise or guarantee of success.
8. User obligations
The User undertakes to use the Site in accordance with the law, good faith and these Terms, and to provide truthful, up-to-date information when completing the contact form. The following conduct, among others, is prohibited: using the Site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes; accessing or attempting to access its systems without authorization; introducing malicious software; overloading or interfering with its operation; extracting data in an automated manner or reverse engineering it; impersonating others; and infringing intellectual property or third-party rights. Such conduct may constitute offenses under Law No. 21,459 (Ley N° 21.459) on computer crimes.
9. Intellectual property
The Content is owned by the Firm or used with authorization, and is protected by Law No. 17,336 (Ley N° 17.336) on Intellectual Property. Its reproduction, distribution, public communication or modification, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the Firm's prior, express consent. All rights are reserved.
10. Links to third-party sites
The Site may contain links to third-party sites. The Firm is not responsible for the content, services or policies of those sites, and their inclusion does not imply endorsement or any connection.
11. Availability and limitation of liability
The Firm strives to keep the Site operational and up to date, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or the absence of errors. To the extent permitted by Chilean law, the Firm will not be liable for damages arising from service interruptions, errors or omissions in the Content, or malicious software introduced by third parties. Nothing in these Terms excludes liabilities that, under the law, cannot be limited, including the rights that the User has as a consumer.
12. Protection of personal data
The processing of the personal data that the User provides is governed by our Privacy Policy and by the Cookie Policy, in accordance with Law No. 19,628 (Ley N° 19.628) and Law No. 21,719 (Ley N° 21.719) on the Protection of Personal Data.
13. Electronic communications
The User accepts that communications made through the Site and the acceptance of these Terms by electronic means are fully valid, in accordance with Law No. 19,799 (Ley N° 19.799) on electronic documents and electronic signatures. We recommend not sending highly sensitive or urgent information through the contact form.
14. Amendments
The Firm may amend these Terms to reflect legal, technical or operational changes. The version in force will always be the one published on this page, with its last-updated date.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will retain their full force and effect.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of justice of the commune of Temuco, without prejudice to any applicable consumer-protection rules.
